Lancashire Food Alliance Workshops
27th November 2024

As part of a LancsCAN collaboration grant, three workshops are being hosted to explore the idea of forming a Lancashire Food Alliance. These workshops aim to bring together active Sustainable Food Places Partnerships, LancsCAN members, and other food partnerships and networks from across Lancashire to explore ways to meaningfully support each other and work together to shift our local food system at a county level.
Each workshop will build on the previous one but if you are unable to join all three we will ensure people can catch up and feed in between the sessions. Please book a place at each workshop via the TryBooking links below. Places are limited so do let us know if there is anyone you think should be invited who may not have been.
Workshop 1 – Creating a shared understanding and mapping of food system work in Lancashire
- Weds 4th December 2024 in Preston (9:30-12:30 followed by lunch)
- This workshop will seek to create a shared understanding of Lancashire’s food partnerships, networks and organisations. This includes an understanding of the contexts we work in, our successes, challenges and priority areas.

- Building on workshop 1, in this session we’ll look to pull out common themes, leverage points and areas for collaboration across Lancashire’s food system. Collectively we’ll explore what Lancashire-wide food system shifts could be achieved together as a network of networks and partnerships.
