What is the Step Into NHS Course?

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Trust (UHMBT), Inspira and Lancaster DWP are working together to provide jobseekers in the Lancaster & Morecambe area with the opportunity to gain skills and qualifications relevant to health and social care. Inspira will lead on education & training, with UHMBT providing a ‘Careers Insights’ day onsite a Royal Lancaster Infirmary before the participants take part in a work experience placement with the Trust.  The group will then be supported in making applications to current vacancies. This course will take place in May 2025 over three weeks.
