Reporting a Hate Crime or Incident

The Bay Anchor Network, comprising organisations across Morecambe Bay, is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive community. In recognition of National Hate Crime Awareness Week (11th–18th October), we would like to ensure that people know how to report incidents and access available support.
We have developed this flowchart with Cumbria and Lancashire Constabulary to outline the steps for reporting such incidents. It explains:
- What to report and who to contact
- How your report is handled confidentially and fairly
- Where to get support if you need advice or help
Please use this flowchart whenever you have a concern. By following these steps, we aim to address issues promptly and help people to feel safe and respected.
