What is Guided Self-Help?
Our FREE guided self-help mental health programme consists of a series of workbooks based on CBT principles, delivered in six sessions with a Mind practitioner. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Our guided self-help sessions aim to enhance service users’ awareness and understanding of their mental health challenges, while empowering them to improve their well-being by providing practical tools, approaches, and resources to address harmful thought patterns and strengthen self-care.

Workplace Health Related Resources:
Workbooks covering a broad range of workplace wellbeing topics, including:

Barrow Exercise and Therapy scheme (BEATS) is a highly supportive and appropriately supervised physical activity and healthy living scheme for patients living with long term medical conditions who have been referred to us by medical professionals, and who might benefit from an increase in physical activity.
We want to empower participants to increase their levels of physical activity and take greater control over their health by providing advice, support and training, tailored to the needs of the individual
Beats and Work well Scheme
This project provides access to the beats programme for participants of the work well scheme.
Each work well participant receives the following on the BEATs scheme
* 1 hour 1:1 triage (therapy route agreed)
* 1:1 coaching for an hour each week for 12 weeks
* Escape Pain
* Good Boost
* Aquatics for health
* Supervised gym sessions

- Exercise based therapy in Kendal and Ulverston
- 1:1 triage for assessment and agree therapy route
- Service offered 5 days per week
